The pitch
You don’t need enterprise software to mow lawns.
The big field-service suites (Jobber, Housecall Pro, Service Autopilot) are built for every trade at once: plumbers, electricians, HVAC, cleaners. So you pay for hundreds of features you’ll never touch, then spend the first week just turning things off. Run My Lawn Biz is the opposite: lawn care only, and light enough whether you’re mowing forty lawns or four hundred.
The stuff you use every week. That’s it.
The essentials for running the day.
Scheduling that fits the mowing week
Fill each crew’s day up to its capacity. Lock a job to the clock only when a customer needs a set time. Recurring mows repeat themselves, so Monday starts with the schedule already built.
A tidy customer & property book
Every client, address, gate code, and property note in one place you can pull up from the truck.
Keep your crew in sync
Assign jobs to the right team so everyone knows where they’re headed and nobody shows up to the wrong yard.
Quotes that look the part
Send a link instead of a wall of numbers in a text. Your customer opens a real page with your business name on it. Every service is priced with how often you’d do it, and the price holds through a date you set. You’ll see when they open it. They reply Approve and you put them on the schedule.
Invoices your customer can open
Mark a job complete and the invoice is ready to go. Send it and your customer gets a link to a real page with your business name and logo on it. Every service is priced out and the balance is right there. The page stays current, so a payment they made yesterday shows up today.
Know who has actually paid you
Cash at the door, a check in the console, a customer who paid for all of June — it gets recorded against the customer instead of disappearing into an invoice. One list shows who owes you, oldest first, and your crew can write down what they collect before it’s forgotten.
Shaped around the mowing week
Set up in an afternoon
Add your customers and set your schedule. You’ll be running jobs the same day you sign up.
Pay by the lawn
Your bill follows your season instead of sitting flat all year. Busy summer, bigger bill. Quiet winter, smaller one.
Only the lawn stuff
No plumbing, HVAC, or 200 features for trades you’ll never run. Just what a lawn business needs.
Pricing
You pay for the lawns you mow.
Your bill comes from how many lawns you serviced that month. Mow the same one four times and it still counts once. There’s a monthly minimum, and you’ll see the exact numbers with your invite, before anyone asks you for a card.
Slow season, smaller bill
Come November your yard count drops and your bill drops with it. Try getting that out of a flat monthly contract.
Hiring is free
Put another guy on the truck, or put a second truck out. We don’t charge for people, so growing your team costs you nothing here.
Small book, small bill
Running a solo route? You’ll be under the monthly minimum, which means the next lawn you pick up doesn’t cost you a thing.
Who’s building this
This isn’t a weekend project.
I’ve spent 20 years building software professionally in both the building efficiency industry and the financial services industry. All of that experience is baked into Run My Lawn Biz.
A lot of small business apps get thrown together fast. You find out the hard way, usually the first time something breaks in the middle of your week or a customer’s address turns up where it shouldn’t.
So the boring parts came first. Your customer list is locked to your business down in the database itself and passwords are managed by an outside company that specializes in secure logins. The security work went in before the fun features did, because the alternative is explaining to one of your customers how their gate code got out.

Common questions
Is Run My Lawn Biz available now?
We’re building it and opening to a small group of early-access users first. Join the list and we’ll send you an invite when your spot comes up.
Who is it for?
Lawn care businesses anywhere from a solo route up to a few hundred lawns. If you’re big enough to lose track of who gets mowed when, and small enough that enterprise software feels like overkill, that’s who we built this for.
How does pricing work?
You pay by the lawn, based on the properties you actually serviced that month. Four mows on the same lawn counts as one, so your bill tracks how many yards you’re taking care of rather than how often you show up. There’s a monthly minimum that covers a small route, and past that it’s a flat rate per lawn. We’ll send exact numbers with early-access invites.
Do you charge per user or per crew?
No. Add crew members and give everybody a login. Hiring never changes what you pay us, which is the whole reason we didn’t price it by headcount.
Can I invoice and take payments?
You can invoice, and you can record payments. Finish a job and the invoice is ready to go out — as an invoice if there’s a balance, as a receipt if they already paid. Cash, checks, and money paid up front all get recorded against the customer, so you can see who owes you and who’s paid ahead. What we don’t do is move the money: there’s no card or ACH processing here, so payments reach you the same way they always have.
What does my customer see when I send an invoice?
A link to a page with your business name, address, and logo at the top. It lists every service you did with its price, the date you were there, and what they owe. Payments you’ve recorded show up on it, so a customer who already paid can see that for themselves.
How is this different from Jobber or the big field-service suites?
Those tools are built for plumbers and electricians and roofers and everybody else, and priced accordingly. Run My Lawn Biz covers one trade: helping a small lawn care business stay on schedule and keep customers happy.
Is my customer data safe?
Yes. Your customer list, addresses and gate codes are visible to your business and nobody else, and that separation is built into the system itself rather than just the screens you see. Sign-ins run through an outside company that does nothing but keep logins secure, so your password never sits on our servers at all.
Will there be a mobile app?
Yes. A mobile app for the field is on the roadmap, and early-access members get it first.
